Danny Baldocchi is an experienced political and communications operative who excels in high-stakes scenarios. He has an extensive background in both candidate campaigns and ballot measures. His passion for politics started from a young age. As a teenager, he was inspired during then-Senator Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign and volunteered for his campaign in California and Nevada.
Prior to joining BMWL, Danny helped elect Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, serving as an organizer and the campaign’s social media coordinator. In 2015, he was the Deputy Campaign Manager for the No on I – Mission Moratorium that resulted in a sizable win on Election Day. After joining the firm in 2018, Danny was the Campaign Manager for the successful re-election of four San Francisco Superior Court judges. Since then, Danny has overseen numerous successful public affairs and political campaigns on the firm’s behalf.
Danny is a graduate of Oberlin College where he majored in Politics and minored in English. In college, he helped win Oberlin’s first ever NCAC baseball championship and went on to play in the professional German baseball league, the Bundesliga, before returning back to his native Oakland.
